NDP is dedicated to identifying hazards and implementing the Hierarchy of Controls to support with the elimination, substitution, engineering controls, administrative controls, and personal protective equipment to prevent incidents Occurrence. NDP continuously seek to adapt and implement sustainable mitigation measures for any known environmental hazards and to lessen the risk of any impact by stressing developing a work environment that promotes active participation, consultation, and teamwork. All NDP team Members and Employed contractors are empowered to help support in the improvement, development and sustaining of a safe workplace and environment; safe system of work, good and proactive working habits and always active participants in our shared purposed with the Health, Safety and Environmental programs that are resulting from our business and work activities.

The highlights are to display the continuous cooperation with people performing the work and supporting with coaching and engagement to ensure continuously strive for a shared purpose that everyone is aligned with the performing work safely and managing the risk related to our work activities.
Further development of awareness of the hazards and risks and actions to perform work safely were introduced in & campaigns and program that acted as pillars to bolster further develop and strengthen individual knowledge and a collective awareness. The facility achieved multiple H&S milestones, 1242 working Days, and with a combined 26 + Million Safe Man working hours. NAQA’A DESALINATION PLANT LLC has further ambitions to align its current QHSE Framework to ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001.
At the operational level, NOMAC has an established Integrated Management System (IMS) that is built on a risk-based approach and accredited against ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards. The HSSE system is comprised of their policies and procedures that are set developed and implemented to achieve an incident free workplace.
We ensure that every employee, contractor, and visitor inside the plant is fully aware of our policies and procedures through regular awareness sessions, e-learning, toolbox talks, consultation and HSE Committees. Training is an essential part of our HSSE system, ensuring that each employee remains competent to safely performing his or her work. NOMAC have deployed software systems to assist in managing a seamless and error-free PTW and incident reporting processes. Regular audits and inspections by our HSSE and other management team members facilitate knowledge sharing throughout our network and enable our continuous improvement in our business activities HSSE performance.
